    We at Focal Fabrics, LLC ("Focal Fabrics," "we," "us," or "our"") have created this privacy policy (this "Privacy Policy") because we believe it is important to let you know how the information you provide to us is used and shared.  This Privacy Policy pertains to the information collection and use practices of Focal Fabrics in connection with our website located at https://focalFabrics.com(the "Website").

    By visiting our Website, you are agreeing to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the accompanying Terms of Use.

    The Information We Collect

    1. Personal Information

      When you sign up for an Account, you will be required to provide us with certain personal information about yourself ("Personal Information"), such as your name, e-mail address, and a password.  Additionally, if you place an order for a product(s) on the Website, you must provide us with your phone number and your address, and certain information about the transaction, such as the product(s) being ordered. We do not collect any Personal Information from you when you use the Website unless you provide us with the Personal Information voluntarily.  

    2. Other Information Automatically Collected

      We may collect additional information (collectively, the "Other Information") automatically through various technologies.  Such Other Information may include information that we automatically collect when you visit the Website, such as your IP addresses, browser type and language, referring and exit pages and URLs, date and time, amount of time spent on particular pages, what sections of the Website you visit, and similar information concerning your use of the Website.  Additionally, information may be collected via "cookie" technology.  Cookies are small packets of data that a website stores on your computer’s hard drive so that your computer will "remember" certain information about your visit to the website.  We may use both cookies to help us collect Other Information and to enhance your experience using the Website.  If you do not want us to put a cookie on your hard drive, you may be able to turn that feature off through your Internet browser.  However, you should be aware that if you decide not to accept cookies from us, the Website may not function properly.   

    Information Collected by or Through Third-Party Companies

    Focal Fabrics also uses third party service providers (each a "Service Provider"), such as Google Analytics, that administer various services, such as web analytics and data facilitation, that may use technologies such as cookies, web beacons, and web server logs to assist with analyzing how visitors come upon and use the Website.  The information gathered through such means is disclosed to and gathered directly by these Service Providers, and any Service Provider’s use of such information is subject to the Service Provider’s privacy policies, and not Focal Fabrics’. 

    Accessing and Modifying Personal Information and Communication Preferences

    If you have a registered Account with Focal Fabrics, you may access, review, and make changes to your Personal Information and certain Other Information by following the instructions on the Website.  In addition, you may manage your receipt of marketing and non-transactional communications by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link located on the bottom of any Focal Fabrics marketing email.  We will use commercially reasonable efforts to process such requests in a timely manner.  You should be aware, however, that it is not always possible to completely remove or modify information in our subscription databases. 

    How We Use and Share the Information  

    We use the Personal Information and the Other Information (collectively, the "Information") to process your orders, solicit your feedback, inform you about products, and to improve your overall Website experience.  

    Focal Fabrics is not in the business of selling your Information, and we will not disclose your information except as described in this Privacy Policy.  There are, however, limited circumstances in which we may share your Information with certain third parties without notice to you, which may include disclosing your information as follows: (i) with Service Providers that perform services on our behalf, (ii) with legal authorities if we are compelled to do so by applicable law or an order from a court of competent jurisdiction, (iii) upon request by law enforcement authorities, (iv) if we believe that disclosure is reasonably necessary to prevent physical or financial harm, and (v) in connection with an investigation pertaining to suspected or actual illegal activities.  Additionally, in the event of a corporate sale, merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, dissolution or similar event ("Transfer Event"), we reserve the right to sell and transfer your Information if we sell or transfer all or a portion of our business or assets.  Should a Transfer Event occur, we will use reasonable efforts to direct the transferee to treat your Information in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy.

    How We Protect Your Information

    We take commercially reasonable steps to protect the Information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.  Please understand, however, that no security system is impenetrable, and that accordingly, we cannot guarantee the security of our databases. In particular, e-mail sent to us may not be secure, and you should therefore take special care in deciding what information you send to us via e-mail. 

    To help protect against unauthorized disclosure of the information you share with us, Focal Fabrics limits employee access to our customer files. All personal customer information is transmitted via a secure connection and maintained on a secure server that is administered by a service provider who has agreed not to disclose to third parties confidential information received from Focal Fabrics. We take the security of your personal data extremely seriously, and provide top of the line security services throughout the checkout process. We do not keep your credit card information on file.

    Children

    We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 13 through the Website.  If you are under 13, please do not give us any Personal Information.  We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s Internet usage and to help enforce our Privacy Policy by instructing their children to never provide us with Personal Information without their permission.  If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 13 has provided Personal Information to us, please contact us, and we will endeavor to delete that information from our databases.

    External Websites

    The Website may contain links to third-party websites, including those of our business partners and/or sellers. Focal Fabrics has no control over the privacy practices or the content of any of these websites.  As such, we are not responsible for their content or privacy policies.  You should check the applicable third-party privacy policy and terms of use when visiting any other websites. 

    Changes to This Privacy Policy

    This Privacy Policy is effective as of the date stated at the top of this Privacy Policy.  We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time, and will post any changes on the Website as soon as they go into effect.  By accessing the Website after we make any such changes to this Privacy Policy, you are deemed to have accepted such changes.  Please refer back to this Privacy Policy on a regular basis.

  2. Customer Inspection Procedures

    Fabric arrives via FedEx or UPS

    DO NOT CUT SLEEVE! IT MAY BE NEEDED FOR RETURN SHIPPING.
    ALL PROTECTIVE SLEEVES ARE TO BE OPENED AT THE END OF THE BOLT SO THE FABRIC MAY SLIDE OUT AND NO DAMAGE TO DONE TO FABRIC WITH CUTTING PACKAGE.
    PLEASE SEE SAFEST OPENING DIRECTIONS FOR BOLTS OF FABRIC IN SECTION FOR PACKAGE OPENING DEMONSTRATION.

  3. Return Policy

    Focal Fabrics only accepts returns on uncut damaged products (as discussed above). All returns incur a 25% restocking fee. All sales become final after 30 days from delivery, as documented by the carrier tracking number.
    Additionally, sample boxes are non-returnable but you can receive a credit to apply towards fabric orders $1500 or more.


  4. Lost Package Procedure

    If your package is lost, please notify us immediately via email. service@focalfabrics.com

    • When placing an order on the Focal Fabrics website, please use a U.S. address for shipping. Our website will not accept an international shipping addresses.
    • Focal Fabrics will not be able to process an order that uses a credit card with a billing address outside the U.S.
    • When placing an order, please enter your US telephone number without your country code.
